The GOAT is designed as a tribute to the iconic German Merkur 34 razor, the patent for which officially expired in the 1970s, although the razors themselves are still in production today in improved form. The Merkur 34 is still one of the top choices for novice wet-shavers to this day. Razorock has refined this model to their liking: instead of a two-piece model, it is now a three-piece model, made of stainless steel and has slightly modified geometry. The parts are 3D milled, so the Goat has tighter tolerances than most other razors on the market. The head is designed to securely cover all blade protrusions, minimizing injuries during use.
The razor features a Hollow HD handle — hollow inside, so the weight of the razor is distributed to the head. The result is maneuverability and ease of shaving without irritation because it shaves under its own weight, without pressure.
The exposure of the blade is neutral, like the primary source, meaning it is in the same plane as the shaving area. This also reduces the risk of nicks, redness and micro-damage.
All parts of the Razorock Goat are made of stainless steel, durable and resistant to salt water and rust. All parts are CNC machined to the smallest possible tolerances and are not polished. After purchase, the owner can decide whether polishing is required — and do it himself.
After use, rinse and dry the razor, preferably vertically on a special rack.
