There are 4 closed comb heads in the Daily line: Smooth and Grooved, each in Plus and Standard variations, as well as 2 open comb heads. They all differ in blade exposure and overall aggressiveness. The aggressiveness of the Grooved Plus model is about average: slightly more than the BBS, the Razorock razor known among traditional wet shaving enthusiasts. Grooved sides ensure a close fit to the skin and slightly increase shaving efficiency. The grooves allow lather and shaved stubble to drain through the grooves, so you can rinse the razor less often and interrupt your shave.
The razor is designed so that the blade is securely attached to the sides and does not vibrate as it moves across the skin. This avoids micro-damage to the skin and snags.
