Soak the brush pile in warm water for a few minutes before use. Boar bristles do not absorb moisture well, allowing them to dry twice as fast as badger bristles. After each use, thoroughly rinse off any residual foam and set the anointing stick to dry in a special stand in a well-ventilated room.
