An unusual ingredient — fern from the Italian Alps — is used to make afteshave. The rhizomes of the plant are used in cosmetics. Fern acid relieves tension, smooths muscles and heals skin injuries. Fern extract penetrates deep into the dermis and fights the cause of irritation from within. It soothes the skin, removes redness, relieves itching and burning.
The aftershave lotion is enhanced with other botanical ingredients:
- aloe juice moisturizes the skin;
- Chamomile extract reduces inflammation and soothes;
- lavender prevents bacterial growth;
- mallow — to soften and moisturize.
The fragrance of the lotion is fresh and intense, it blends well with the scent of the shaving soap and the regular shower soap from the same Saponificio Varesino Aromatic Felce collection.
