This model is the «little brother» of the Rockwell 6C and 6S razors, which come with 3 interchangeable dual-surface plates and a choice of 6 aggressiveness settings. The Rockwell 2C has one double edge plate with the most popular work surfaces and is easily customizable to your desired level of aggressiveness. With this razor, you can enjoy several years of a flawlessly clean and comfortable shave.
The razor is made of zinc alloy and protected from corrosion by a Gunmetal chrome finish.
Rockwell’s 2C razor kit includes:
- handle with sturdy knurled surface;
- R1/R3 plate — each work surface is marked with deeply impressed letters and numbers (perfectly distinguishable by touch even in the dark);
- cover;
- A pack of five Rockwell double edge replacement blades.
The manufacturer’s R1 and R3 plate markings are standard and apply to all models of T-blade razors. The index indicates the amount of clearance between the blade and the guard:
- R1 is 0.20 mm;
- R3 is 0.48 mm.
The R1 side gives a very gentle shave even on sensitive skin, so we recommend it for those who prefer to shave every day. This work surface of the plate is ideal for men with fine hair, for removing short stubble. It is also good for trimming the trim of moustaches and beards.
The R3 work surface gives a closer shave because it shaves the stubble even closer to the surface of the skin.
How to use the Rockwell 2C razor
- Select the appropriate working side of the plate, e.g. R1.
- Place the double edge blade on the cover.
- Press the plate against the lid so that the selected surface R1 faces outward and the side R3 lies on the blade.
- Tighten the handle.
