The Barrister and Mann Cologne Russe aftershave splash is part of the brand's collection with a unique scent of an antique cologne, which was specially made for the Russian Tsar and his family. In 1917, the perfume ceased production, but almost 100 years later, Barrister and Mann recreated its scent in their products for wet shavers. Tightens pores, heals damage, tones skin, reduces inflammation and itching.
The lotion is based on alcohol and aqueous extract of witch hazel. Aftershave disinfects, tightens enlarged pores. The pH value of witch hazel is 5.5, close to the normal acid-alkaline balance of human skin, so it does not irritate or dry it. Eleutherococcus extract tones, reduces inflammation, normalizes sebum production.
The fragrance of Cologne Russe is subtler and warmer than most of the brand’s other lotions. It is bright, mesmerizing, not harsh. The main notes are citrus (lemon, bergamot, petitgrain), as well as green, herbaceous and floral (violet, rose, laurel), with the addition of thick amber. It blends well with the scent of soap.
The lotion is suitable for all skin types, but for sensitive and very dry skin we recommend a balm.
